Let $\alpha$ range over the set of compositions. Dual immaculate quasisymmetric functions $\mathfrak{S}_\alpha^*$, introduced by Berg, Bergeron, Saliola, Serrano, and Zabrocki, provide a quasisymmetric analogue of Schur functions.
