We report the results of the first search for the decay ${B}_{s}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\eta}}^{\ensuremath{'}}\ensuremath{\eta}$ using $121.4\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{fb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ of data collected at the $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Upsilon}}(5S)$ resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ collider. We observe no significant signal and set a 90% confidence-level upper limit of $6.5\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}5}$ on the branching …
