We report the synthesis of a quasi-one-dimensional (1D) iron selenide ${\mathrm{Ba}}_{9}{\mathrm{Fe}}_{3}{\mathrm{Se}}_{15}$. It was synthesized at high temperature and high pressure of 5.5 GPa and systematically studied via structural, magnetic, and transport measurements at both ambient and high pressure. ${\mathrm{Ba}}_{9}{\mathrm{Fe}}_{3}{\mathrm{Se}}_{15}$ crystallizes in a monoclinic structure and consists of face-sharing $\mathrm{Fe}{\mathrm{Se}}_{6}$ octahedral …
