Non-linear pulsations in differentially rotating neutron stars: mass-shedding-induced damping and splitting of the fundamental mode
We study small-amplitude, non-linear pulsations of uniformly and differentially rotating neutron stars employing a two-dimensional evolution code for general-relativistic hydrodynamics.
