Tunneling Electroresistance Effect in Ferroelectric Tunnel Junctions at the Nanoscale

Using a set of scanning probe microscopy techniques, we demonstrate the reproducible tunneling electroresistance effect on nanometer-thick epitaxial BaTiO3 single-crystalline thin films on SrRuO3 bottom electrodes.
