Double-Electromagnetically-Induced-Transparency Ground-State Cooling of Stationary Two-Dimensional Ion Crystals
We theoretically and experimentally investigate double electromagnetically induced transparency (double-EIT) cooling of two-dimensional ion crystals confined in a Paul trap.
