The SU(3)-flavor violating decay $J/\ensuremath{\psi}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Xi}}(1530{)}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\overline{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Xi}}}}^{+}+\mathrm{c}.\mathrm{c}.$ is studied using $(1310.6\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}7.0)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}1{0}^{6}$ $J/\ensuremath{\psi}$ events collected with the BESIII detector at BEPCII, and the branching fraction is measured to be $\mathcal{B}(J/\ensuremath{\psi}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Xi}}(1530{)}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\overline{\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Xi}}}}^{+}+\mathrm{c}.\mathrm{c}.)=(3.17\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.0{2}_{\text{stat}}\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.0{8}_{\text{syst}})\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}1{0}^{\ensuremath{-}4}$. This result is consistent with previous measurements with an order of magnitude improved precision. The angular parameter for this decay is measured for …
