Massive phonons and gravitational dynamics in a photon-fluid model
Excitation dynamics in a photon fluid with both local and nonlocal interactions are investigated theoretically. Collective excitations are found to display a gapped Bogoliubov spectrum, which at low energies corresponds to that of massive phonons with a relativistic energy-momentum relation.
