Using a sample of $1.31\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{9}\text{ }\text{ }J/\ensuremath{\psi}$ events collected by the BESIII detector at BEPCII during 2009 and 2012, we study the $J/\ensuremath{\psi}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\omega}{\ensuremath{\eta}}^{\ensuremath{'}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ hadronic process. For the first time, we measure the branching ratio $\mathcal{B}(J/\ensuremath{\psi}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\omega}{\ensuremath{\eta}}^{\ensuremath{'}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}})=(1.12\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.02\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.13)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}3}$. We search for the $X(1835)$ state in the ${\ensuremath{\eta}}^{\ensuremath{'}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ invariant mass spectra. No evidence is …
