Thickness-dependent electronic structure in <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mml:msub><mml:mi>WTe</mml:mi><mml:mn>2</mml:mn></mml:msub></mml:math> thin films
We study the electronic structure of ${\mathrm{WTe}}_{2}$ thin films with different thicknesses. High-quality thin-film samples are obtained with carrier mobility up to 5000 ${\mathrm{cm}}^{2}\phantom{\rule{0.16em}{0ex}}{\mathrm{V}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}\phantom{\rule{0.16em}{0ex}}{\mathrm{s}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$, which enables us to resolve the four main Fermi pockets from Shubnikov--de Haas (SdH) oscillations. Angle-resolved SdH oscillations show that the ${\mathrm{WTe}}_{2}$ thin films cross from …
