We consider central exclusive diffractive dipion production in the reactions $pp\ensuremath{\rightarrow}pp{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ and $p\overline{p}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}p\overline{p}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ at high energies. We include the dipion continuum, the dominant scalar ${f}_{0}(500)$, ${f}_{0}(980)$, and tensor ${f}_{2}(1270)$ resonances decaying into the ${\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ pairs. The calculation is based on a tensor Pomeron model and the amplitudes for the processes …
