Electromagnetic Surface Modes in Structured Perfect-Conductor Surfaces
Surface-bound modes in metamaterials forged by drilling periodic hole arrays in perfect-conductor surfaces are investigated by means of both analytical techniques and rigorous numerical solution of Maxwell's equations.
