Exact formulas and simple<mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mml:mi>CP</mml:mi></mml:math>dependence of neutrino oscillation probabilities in matter with constant density

We investigate neutrino oscillations in constant matter within the context of the standard three neutrino scenario. We derive an exact and simple formula for the oscillation probability applicable to all channels. In the standard parametrization, the probability for the ${\ensuremath{\nu}}_{e}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\nu}}_{\ensuremath{\mu}}$ transition can be written in the form $P({\ensuremath{\nu}}_{e}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\nu}}_{\ensuremath{\mu}}{)=A}_{e\ensuremath{\mu}}\mathrm{cos}\ensuremath{\delta}{+B}_{e\ensuremath{\mu}}\mathrm{sin}\ensuremath{\delta}{+C}_{e\ensuremath{\mu}}$ without any …
