We consider the $O({\ensuremath{\alpha}}^{\ensuremath{'}})$ string effective action, with Gauss-Bonnet curvature-squared and fourth-order dilaton-derivative terms, which is derived by a matching procedure with string amplitudes in five space-time dimensions.
