New Supernova Constraints on Sterile-Neutrino Production
We consider the possibility that a light, sterile-neutrino species ${\ensuremath{\nu}}_{S}$ can be produced by ${\ensuremath{\nu}}_{e}$ scattering during the cooling of a proto-neutron star.
