Subdominant pairing channels in unconventional superconductors: Ginzburg-Landau theory

A Ginzburg-Landau theory is developed for unconventional superconductors with the three relevant singlet pairing channels (i.e., s, ${d}_{{x}^{2}\ensuremath{-}{y}^{2}},$ and ${d}_{\mathrm{xy}}$ channels). Various consequences of the subdominant channels (i.e., s and ${d}_{\mathrm{xy}}$ channels) are examined in detail. (1) In the case of a ${d}_{{x}^{2}\ensuremath{-}{y}^{2}}+is$-wave superconductor, we reproduce an earlier result that …
