We prove a Korovkin type approximation theorem for a function of two variables by using the notion of statistical summability<mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" id="M1"><mml:mrow><mml:mi>(C,1,1)</mml:mi></mml:mrow></mml:math>.
