Large Zero-Field Cooled Exchange-Bias in Bulk<mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mml:msub><mml:mi>Mn</mml:mi><mml:mn>2</mml:mn></mml:msub><mml:mi>PtGa</mml:mi></mml:math>
We report a large exchange-bias (EB) effect after zero-field cooling the new tetragonal Heusler compound Mn2PtGa from the paramagnetic state. The first-principle calculation and the magnetic measurements reveal that Mn2PtGa orders ferrimagnetically with some ferromagnetic (FM) inclusions.
