Possible non-Regge behavior of electroproduction structure functions
The large-$\ensuremath{\omega}$ behavior of deep-inelastic structure functions, e.g., ${F}_{2}(\ensuremath{\omega},{q}^{2})$, is studied in the framework of asymptotically free field theories. On the basis of certain uniformity assumptions we predict an unbounded growth with $\ensuremath{\omega}$: slower than any power of $\ensuremath{\omega}$ but faster than any power of $log\ensuremath{\omega}$.
