New mixing pattern for neutrinos

We propose a new mixing pattern for neutrinos with a nonzero mixing angle ${\ensuremath{\theta}}_{13}$. Under a simple form, it agrees well with current neutrino oscillation data and displays a number of intriguing features including the $\ensuremath{\mu}\mathrm{\text{\ensuremath{-}}}\ensuremath{\tau}$ interchange symmetry $|{U}_{\ensuremath{\mu}i}|=|{U}_{\ensuremath{\tau}i}|$, ($i=1$, 2, 3), the trimaximal mixing $|{U}_{\mathrm{e}2}|=|{U}_{\ensuremath{\mu}2}|=|{U}_{\ensuremath{\tau}2}|=1/\sqrt{3}$, the self-complementarity relation ${\ensuremath{\theta}}_{1}+{\ensuremath{\theta}}_{3}=45\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}$, …
