SYMMETRIC VACUA IN HETEROTIC <i>M</i> THEORY
Symmetric vacua of heterotic M-theory, characterized by vanishing cohomology classes of individual sources in the three-form Bianchi identity, are analyzed on smooth Calabi-Yau three-folds.
