Violation of Critical Universality at the Antiferromagnetic Phase Transition of<mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mml:msub><mml:mi>YbRh</mml:mi><mml:mn>2</mml:mn></mml:msub><mml:msub><mml:mi>Si</mml:mi><mml:mn>2</mml:mn></mml:msub></mml:math>
We report on precise low-temperature specific-heat measurements, $C(T)$, of ${\mathrm{YbRh}}_{2}{\mathrm{Si}}_{2}$ in the vicinity of the antiferromagnetic phase transition on a single crystal of superior quality (residual resistivity ratio of $\ensuremath{\sim}150$). We observe a very sharp peak at ${T}_{N}=72\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{mK}$ with absolute values as high as $C/T=8\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{J}/\mathrm{mol}\text{ }{\mathrm{K}}^{2}$. …
