Atomic-scale inversion of spin polarization at an organic-antiferromagnetic interface

Using first-principles calculations, we show that the magnetic properties of a two-dimensional antiferromagnetic transition-metal surface are modified on the atomic scale by the adsorption of small organic molecules.
