The favored $R$-parity-violating SUSY scenarios for the anomalous DESY HERA events correspond to top and charm squark production via the ${\ensuremath{\lambda}}_{131}^{\ensuremath{'}}$ and ${\ensuremath{\lambda}}_{121}^{\ensuremath{'}}$ couplings.
