We present a measurement of the branching fraction for the decay ${B}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{D}^{0}{K}^{*\ensuremath{-}}$ using a sample of approximately $86\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{6}$ $B\overline{B}$ pairs collected by the BABAR detector from ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ collisions near the $\ensuremath{\Upsilon}(4S)$ resonance. The ${D}^{0}$ is detected through its decays to ${K}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+},$ ${K}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0},$ and ${K}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+},$ and the ${K}^{*\ensuremath{-}}$ through its decay …
