Impurity-Induced Magnetic Order in Low-Dimensional Spin-Gapped Materials
We have studied the effect of nonmagnetic Zn impurities in the coupled spin ladder $\mathrm{Bi}({\mathrm{Cu}}_{1\ensuremath{-}x}{\mathrm{Zn}}_{x}{)}_{2}{\mathrm{PO}}_{6}$ using $^{31}\mathrm{P}$ NMR, muon spin resonance ($\ensuremath{\mu}\mathrm{SR}$), and quantum Monte Carlo simulations.
