Magnetic, thermal, and transport properties of single crystals of antiferromagnetic Kondo-lattice<mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mml:mrow><mml:msub><mml:mrow><mml:mi mathvariant="normal">Ce</mml:mi></mml:mrow><mml:mrow><mml:mn>2</mml:mn></mml:mrow></mml:msub></mml:mrow><mml:mrow><mml:msub><mml:mrow><mml:mi mathvariant="normal">PdSi</mml:mi></mml:mrow><mml:mrow><mml:mn>3</mml:mn></mml:mrow></mml:msub></mml:mrow></mml:math>
Magnetization, heat capacity, electrical resistivity, thermoelectric power, and Hall effect have been investigated on single-crystalline ${\mathrm{Ce}}_{2}{\mathrm{PdSi}}_{3}.$ This compound is shown to order antiferromagnetically below N\'eel temperature ${(T}_{N})\ensuremath{\sim}3\mathrm{K}.$ The Sommerfeld coefficient far below ${T}_{N}$ is found to be about $110{\mathrm{m}\mathrm{J}/\mathrm{K}}^{2}\mathrm{mol}\mathrm{Ce},$ which indicates the heavy-fermion character of this compound.
