Reconciling Sterile Neutrinos with Big Bang Nucleosynthesis
We re-examine the big bang nucleosynthesis (BBN) bounds on the mixing of neutrinos with sterile species. These bounds depend on the assumption that the relic neutrino asymmetry $L_{\nu}$ is very small.
