The effect of uniaxial pressure ${(P}_{u})$ on the magnetic susceptibility $(\ensuremath{\chi}),$ magnetization $(M),$ and magnetoresistance (MR) of the heavy-fermion metamagnet ${\mathrm{CeRu}}_{2}{\mathrm{Si}}_{2}$ has been investigated.
