The dispersion of a tracer in a heterogeneous medium in which the tracerās velocity has zero mean and a covariance that decays as xāĪ³ with distance x is studied using nonlocal advectionādiffusion theory. If the velocity covariance decays slowly, Ī³ā¤2, the tracerās dispersive motion is non-Fickian even at long times ā¦
