Multiband superconductivity in PrPt<mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mml:msub><mml:mrow /><mml:mn>4</mml:mn></mml:msub></mml:math>Ge<mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mml:msub><mml:mrow /><mml:mn>12</mml:mn></mml:msub></mml:math>single crystals
We report measurements of the London penetration depth $\ensuremath{\Delta}\ensuremath{\lambda}(T)$ and the electronic specific heat ${C}_{e}(T)$ on high-quality single crystals of the filled skutterudite superconductor PrPt${}_{4}$Ge${}_{12}$ (${T}_{c}\ensuremath{\simeq}$ 8 K). Both quantities show a weak temperature dependence at $T\ensuremath{\ll}{T}_{c}$, following $\ensuremath{\Delta}\ensuremath{\lambda}\ensuremath{\sim}{T}^{n}$ ($n=3.2\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.1$) and ${C}_{e}/T\ensuremath{\sim}{T}^{2.8}$.
