A Noether-Lefschetz theorem for varieties of <i>r</i>-planes in complete intersections
Abstract We prove a Noether-Lefschetz type theorem for varieties of r -planes in complete intersections. We then use it to study the Abel-Jacobi map of planes on a smooth cubic fivefold.
