Measurement of the Lifetime Difference in<mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mml:mrow><mml:msup><mml:mrow><mml:mi mathvariant="italic">D</mml:mi></mml:mrow><mml:mrow><mml:mn>0</mml:mn></mml:mrow></mml:msup></mml:mrow></mml:math>Meson Decays
We report a measurement of the ${D}^{0}\ensuremath{-}{\overline{D}}^{0}$ mixing parameter ${y}_{\mathrm{CP}}$ using $23.4{\mathrm{fb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ of data collected near the $\ensuremath{\Upsilon}(4S)$ resonance with the Belle detector at KEKB. ${y}_{\mathrm{CP}}$ is measured from the lifetime difference of ${D}^{0}$ mesons decaying into the ${K}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}$ state and the $\mathrm{CP}$-even eigenstate ${K}^{\ensuremath{-}}{K}^{+}$. We find ${y}_{\mathrm{CP}}\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}=\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}(\ensuremath{-}0.5\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}{1.0}_{\ensuremath{-}0.8}^{+0.7})\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}2}$, where the …
