Abstract In this work, we obtain fixed point theorems and convergence theorems for Suzuki-generalized nonexpansive mappings in complete $$CAT_p(0)$$ <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"> <mml:mrow> <mml:mi>C</mml:mi> <mml:mi>A</mml:mi> <mml:msub> <mml:mi>T</mml:mi> <mml:mi>p</mml:mi> </mml:msub> <mml:mrow> <mml:mo>(</mml:mo> <mml:mn>0</mml:mn> <mml:mo>)</mml:mo> </mml:mrow> </mml:mrow> </mml:math> metric spaces for $$p\ge 2$$ <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"> <mml:mrow> <mml:mi>p</mml:mi> <mml:mo>≥</mml:mo> <mml:mn>2</mml:mn> </mml:mrow> </mml:math> . Our results extend and improve many results in the literature.
