Abstract

Using data collected by the CLEO II detector at a center-of-mass energy on or near the Υ(4S) resonance, we have determined the 90% confidence level upper limit B(¯B→Λ+ce−X)/B(¯B→(Λ+cor¯Λ−c)X)<0.05 for electrons with momentum above 0.6GeV/c. We have also obtained the limit B(B−→Λ+c¯pe−¯νe)/B(¯B→Λ+c¯pX)<0.04 at the 90% confidence level and measured the ratio B(¯B→Λ+c¯pX)/B(¯B→(Λ+cor¯Λ−c)X)=0.57±0.05±0.05.
