Research with quantitative and qualitative … Quantitative research is a research approach that represents the understanding of positivism, while qualitative research is an approach that represents a familiar naturalistic research (phenomenology). Research with quantitative and qualitative approach by some may not be mixed , but knowledge is considered wrong by researchers who noticed that each research approach has a weakness, and therefore deemed necessary to do a combination, for each approach complement each other. The reason for the selection of both research approaches is that both types of research are mutually reinforcing and complementing each other so that research results will be achieved not only an objective, structured and measurable but it will be achieved also in-depth research results and factual. Penelitian kuantitatif merupakan pendekatan penelitian yang mewakili paham positivisme, sementara itu penelitian kualitatif merupakan pendekatan penelitian yang mewakili paham naturalistik (fenomenologis). Penelitian dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif oleh sebagian kalangan tidak boleh dicampuradukan, namun pemahaman ini dianggap keliru oleh para peneliti yang melihat bahwa masing-masing pendekatan penelitian mempunyai kelemahan, dan oleh karenanya dianggap perlu untuk melakukan kombinasi, agar masing-masing pendekatan saling melengkapi. Alasan pemilihan kedua pendekatan penelitian tersebut adalah bahwa kedua jenis penelitian tersebut saling memperkuat dan saling melengkapi sehingga akan dicapai hasil penelitian yang tidak hanya obyektif, terstruktur dan terukur namun akan dicapai juga hasil penelitian yang mendalam dan faktual

Salah satu cara yang logis untuk momotivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran adalah mengaitkan pengalaman belajar dengan motivasi siswa. Guru sebagai orang yang membelajarkan siswa sangat berkepentingan dengan masalah ini. Sehingga sebagai guru atau calon guru sebisa mungkin kita harus selalu berupaya untuk dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar terutama bagi siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar dengan menggunakan berbagai upaya yang dapat dilakukan oleh guru yaitu 1) Memperjelas tujuan yang ingin dicapai. 2) Membangkitkan motivasi siswa. 3) Ciptakan suasana yang menyenangkan dalam belajar. 4) Mengguanakan variasi metode penyajian yang menarik. 5) Berilah pujian yang wajar setiap keberhasilan siswa. 6) Berikan penilaian. 7) Berilah komentar terhadap hasil pekerjaan siswa. 8) Ciptakan persaingan dan kerjasama.

The initial attendance of Islamic boarding schools was estimated from 300-400 years ago and reached almost all levels of the Indonesian Muslim community, especially in Java. After Indonesia's independence, especially since the transition to the New Order and when economic growth really increased sharply, Islamic boarding school education became more structured and the pesantren curriculum became better. For example, in addition to the religious curriculum, pesantren also offer general lessons using a dual curriculum, mone curriculum and Ministry of Religion curriculum. As an educational institution, pesantren are very concerned about the field of religion (tafaqquh fi al-din) and the formation of national character characterized by morality. By students' intrinsic motivation to learn because of the sincerity of their hearts, the positive results of learning efforts that will shown. However, extrinsic motivation also determines the interest of students in learning. When students have a desire to learn but the extrinsic factors do not support, the student will lose his spirits. Both intrinsic and extrinsic factors can determine the success of students in the learning process. Motivation is an energy change within the person characterized by effective arausal and antisipatory goal reaction. Motivation will push, move and direct students to learn. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah … Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kendala- kendala apa saja yang dialami oleh orang tua selama mendampingi anak belajar dirumah pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus melalui wawancara dengan analisis tematik pada 12 orang tua dengan anak yang sedang bersekolah di taman kanak-kanak. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara umum kendala- kendala orang tua dalam mendampingi anak belajar di rumah pada masa pandemi Covid- 19 adalah kurangnya pemahaman materi oleh orang tua, kesulitan orang tua dalam menumbuhkan minat belajar anak, tidak memiliki cukup waktu untuk mendampingi anak karena harus bekerja, orang tua tidak sabar dalam mendampingi anak saat belajar dirumah, kesulitan orang tua dalam mengoperasikan gadget, dan kendala terkait jangkauan layanan internet. Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu menggali kendala- kendala orang tua dalam mendampingi anak ketika belajar dirumah sehingga penelitian ini mampu berkontribusi terhadap penelitian selanjutnya dalam menggali solusi untuk masalah- masalah tersebut

Education requires strategies and approaches so that what is the goal can be achieved properly, education experts try to think and provide views on various theories and strategic approaches in providing education. Abstrak: Konsep Strategi Pembelajaran Proses belajar merupakan upaya perubahan tingkah laku atau sebagai suatu aktivitas mental dan psikis yang berlangsung dalam interaksi aktif dengan lingkungan dan menghasilkan perubahan sikap dalam pengetahuan, pemahaman, keterampilan, nilai dan sikap. Pendidikan membutuhkan strategi dan pendekatan agar apa yang menjadi tujuan dapat dicapai dengan baik, para ahli pendidikan berupaya memikirkan dan memberikan pandangan tentang berbagai teori dan ancangan strategis dalam menyelenggarakan pendidikan.

Mengasah keterampilan melalui pembiasaan diri dan pemenuhan kebutuhan hidup dalam berbagai macam hal yang didasari oleh pengetahuan. Pembelajaran abad ke 21 diharapkan dapat membuka lebih lebar kesempatan kerja dan memperluas lapangan kerja bagi masyarakat Indonesia sebagai sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas dan unggul. Untuk membentuk sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas, maka dibutuhkan tenaga pendidik yang siap mengajar dan mendidik melalui pembelajaran abad 21 yang tentunya diharuskan relevan dengan perkembangan Era Revolusi Industri 4.0. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui keterampilan belajar yang akan dibutuhkan pada pembelajaran abad 21, dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan berupa studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran abad 21 berorientasikan kepada kegiatan untuk melatih keterampilan peserta didik dengan mengarah pada proses pembelajaran. Pembelajaran abad 21 berfokus pada student center dengan tujuan untuk memberikan peserta didik keterampilan berpikir diantara lain: (1) berpikir kritis, (2) memecahkan masalah, (3) metakognisi, (4) berkomunikasi, (5) berkolaborasi, (6) inovasi dan kreatif, (7) literasi informasi. Oleh sebab itu diharapkan pendidikan dapat menciptakan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas dalam bidang teknologi informasi dan juga aspek kemanusiaan karena pembelajaran abad 21 lebih mengintegrasikan terhadap pengetahuan dan keterampilan.

Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif dengan studi literatur yang berusaha memberikan solusi bagaimana pendidikan karakter dilakukan ketika pembelajaran masih berlangsung dengan metode daring pada sekolah menengah pertama. Selain itu, Undang?undang Nomor 12 Tahun 2012 tentang Pendidikan Tinggi juga mengamanatkan mata kuliah Kewarganegaraan sebagai mata kuliah wajib di perguruan tinggi sehingga mahasiswa dapat menjadi intelektual,ilmuwan, praktisi, dan atau professional. Sehubungan dengan itu, maka perubahan pada proses pembelajaran menjadi penting dan akan menciptakan iklim akademik yang akan meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa baik hardskills maupun softskills.Penyusunan buku pendidikan kewarganegaraan ini masih sangat sederhana namun kehadiran buku ini dapat membantu mahasiswa dalam memecahkan berbagai persoalan yang dihadapi saat ini pada tingkat perguruan tinggi ditengah perkembangan saman yang terus maju yang mengharuskan mahasiswa harus mampu bersaing secara global dan mengahsilkan inovasi baru dalam bidang pendidikan. Pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan tradisional memiliki potensi besar dalam membentuk karakter mandiri dan tangguh. Namun demikian, keterbatasan kreativitas dan keterampilan praktis menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi para santri dalam menghadapi kehidupan pasca-pesantren. Oleh karena itu, tim pengabdi melaksanakan program penyuluhan kewirausahaan dengan pendekatan edukatif, partisipatif, dan aplikatif. Materi yang diberikan meliputi strategi pemasaran di masa pandemi, motivasi berwirausaha dengan modal kecil, dan penguatan kepemimpinan dalam kerja tim. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi wawancara, presentasi interaktif, serta pendampingan dalam perencanaan kewirausahaan santri. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dari peserta, serta meningkatnya pemahaman dan semangat berwirausaha di kalangan santri. Kegiatan ini menjadi langkah awal yang strategis dalam membekali santri dengan keterampilan ekonomi yang relevan, guna mendukung kemandirian mereka di masa depan. Penguatan jiwa wirausaha di pesantren dinilai penting untuk menciptakan generasi muda yang tidak hanya religius, tetapi juga produktif dan inovatif dalam menjawab tantangan zaman. Kegiatan lanjutan dan pendampingan usaha riil direkomendasikan untuk kesinambungan program ini.

Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk struktur belanja Muhammadiyah Australia College (MAC) tahun 2022–2023, serta kesesuaiannya dengan prinsip tata kelola keuangan Islami dan tantangan ketergantungan terhadap subsidi publik. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka, berfokus pada analisis laporan tahunan Muhammadiyah Australia College (MAC) tahun 2022–2023. Teknik dokumentasi dan content analysis digunakan untuk mengkaji pola belanja, prinsip tata kelola, serta tantangan keberlanjutan fiskal lembaga pendidikan Islam di luar negeri. Hasil dan Pembahasan : Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Muhammadiyah Australia College (MAC) mengalami peningkatan pendapatan dari AUD 1.054.160 pada 2022 menjadi AUD 2.111.619 pada 2023. Namun, pengeluaran yang lebih tinggi dari pendapatan menyebabkan defisit operasional berturut-turut, yakni AUD 143.016 dan AUD 235.700. Ketergantungan yang tinggi terhadap subsidi pemerintah menjadi tantangan keberlanjutan finansial MAC. Dibutuhkan strategi diversifikasi pendanaan, efisiensi anggaran, dan pendekatan berbasis nilai Islam agar institusi dapat bertahan dan berkembang secara mandiri di lingkungan pendidikan global. Kesimpulan : Muhammadiyah Australia College (MAC) mengalami peningkatan pendapatan namun tetap defisit karena pengeluaran tinggi dan ketergantungan pada subsidi. Diperlukan diversifikasi pendanaan dan penerapan prinsip keuangan Islam agar keberlanjutan finansial tercapai.

The background of this research is … ABSTRACT This study aims to improve students’ learning outcomes in the subject of Balaghah through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The background of this research is rooted in the low student engagement and academic performance, primarily caused by traditional teacher-centered teaching methods with minimal active participation. This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles consisting of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 25 eleventh-grade students at a Madrasah Aliyah. Instruments used included learning outcome tests, student activity observation sheets, and teacher performance observation sheets. The findings showed an increase in the average knowledge score from 55.00 (pre-cycle) to 67.00 (cycle II), and the mastery level rose from 16% to 75%. Additionally, there was a notable improvement in students’ attitudes—particularly in cooperation, honesty, accuracy, and responsibility—with an increase in the average score from 2.71 to 2.78 and affective mastery from 65.60% to 81.23%. PBL effectively promoted active, collaborative, and contextual learning, while also fostering students’ character development in critical thinking and accountability. These findings suggest that PBL is a viable and innovative alternative for teaching Balaghah, helping to overcome monotonous learning practices and significantly enhancing the quality of both cognitive and affective learning aspects. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Balaghah melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya keterlibatan dan hasil belajar siswa yang disebabkan oleh pendekatan pembelajaran tradisional yang masih bersifat teacher-centered dan minim partisipasi aktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri atas empat tahap: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 25 siswa kelas XI di salah satu Madrasah Aliyah. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi tes hasil belajar, lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata pengetahuan dari 55,00 (pra-siklus) menjadi 67,00 (siklus II), serta peningkatan ketuntasan belajar dari 16% menjadi 75%. Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan pada aspek sikap siswa, terutama dalam hal kerja sama, kejujuran, ketelitian, dan tanggung jawab, dengan rata-rata skor sikap meningkat dari 2,71 menjadi 2,78 dan ketuntasan sikap dari 65,60% menjadi 81,23%. PBL terbukti efektif mendorong pembelajaran aktif, kolaboratif, dan kontekstual, serta membentuk karakter siswa yang kritis dan bertanggung jawab. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa PBL layak diterapkan dalam pembelajaran Balaghah sebagai alternatif inovatif yang mampu mengatasi pendekatan monoton dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dari aspek kognitif maupun afektif.

This study was … This study aims to analyze the integration of the Tahfiz Al-Qur'an program in the education curriculum and its impact on student achievement through a library research approach. This study was conducted by tracing various literature sources such as books, scientific journals, educational articles, and relevant previous research results. The main focus of the study is to understand the concept of tahfiz integration in the general school curriculum and examine its contribution to the cognitive, affective, and spiritual aspects of students. The results of the study indicate that the integration of the tahfiz Al-Qur'an program not only improves students' memorization abilities, but also plays a role in forming disciplined character, strengthening learning motivation, and improving overall academic achievement. This approach has a positive influence on the balance between intellectual and spiritual education, and creates a more religious and conducive learning environment. This study recommends the need to develop an integrative curriculum that combines Al-Qur'an education with general learning systematically, in order to create a holistic and sustainable quality of education.

This study aims to develop a chemistry teaching module that integrates the local wisdom of Subulussalam, incorporating cultural elements such as Subulussalam batik, ikan bauh buluh, and nakan lancing, and … This study aims to develop a chemistry teaching module that integrates the local wisdom of Subulussalam, incorporating cultural elements such as Subulussalam batik, ikan bauh buluh, and nakan lancing, and to evaluate the responses of students and teachers to the module. The module is designed to contextualize acid-base chemistry concepts through local cultural practices, thereby making learning more meaningful and relevant. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach, utilizing the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. Data collection is conducted through closed-ended questionnaires, and the data are analyzed using both quantitative and descriptive techniques. The module undergoes validation by experts in chemistry and instructional media and is tested on a sample of 66 students and 4 teachers. The results indicate that the chemistry teaching module based on Subulussalam local wisdom is both effective and relevant, as perceived by students and teachers. The integration of local content, such as Subulussalam batik, ikan bauh buluh, and nakan lancing, successfully links chemical concepts to students' real-life experiences, facilitating their understanding of abstract material. Furthermore, the module enhances learning motivation, argumentation skills, and scientific and cultural knowledge. Notably, learning based on local wisdom fosters cultural pride and strengthens global diversity character, aligning with the values of the Pancasila Student Profile and the Merdeka Curriculum. Consequently, this module not only teaches chemistry but also serves as a medium for character education, cultural preservation, and meaningful, contextual learning.

Using a mixed-method approach with a sequential explanatory design, the study combined quantitative analysis of the structural relationships between spiritual engagement, pro-social engagement, interfaith cooperation, and social integration with thematic analysis of in-depth interviews with teachers from five religious traditions (Muslim, Catholicism, Protestantism, Buddhism, and Hinduism). Quantitative data analysis used structural equation modelling with a partial least squares approach and qualitative data used thematic analysis with NVivo 14 software. The results revealed that spiritual engagement has a significant effect on interfaith cooperation and an indirect effect on social integration. In contrast, pro-social engagement has a significant effect on both interreligious cooperation and social integration. Thematic findings showed the convergence of teachers' practices in integrating universal spiritual values, facilitating interfaith pro-social activities, developing interfaith dialogue, and creating an inclusive learning environment that supports students' character-building. Expert validation confirmed the successful implementation of interpretive and integrative approaches in transforming religious education from an exclusive to an inclusive, transformative model.

The study … This study aims to develop a project-based e-module for the co-curricular learning of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5), focusing on the local wisdom of Bulusan, Kudus. The study used a Research and Development (RnD) method with the ADDIE model, including the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The study involved fifth-grade elementary students as research subjects. The research used validation questionnaires to assess the feasibility of content (material) and media (design), as well as response questionnaires to gather feedback from both students and teachers. Data analysis techniques employed descriptive and qualitative methods. Results indicate that the developed learning media met the “Extremely Feasible” criteria, with a content expert score of 93.75% and a media expert score of 99.03%. Both teachers and students rated the media as “extremely practical,” with practicality scores of 95% and 96.51%, respectively. These results confirm that the P5 e-module featuring Bulusan’s local wisdom is both feasible and practical for use in P5 learning. The results of the study on the development of e-module P5 integrate local wisdom as an alternative to learning innovation in a contextual and meaningful way. The implication is that learning is more effective, students have a deep understanding of Bulusan local wisdom. For teachers, this E-module P5 is a reference in developing local wisdom teaching materials in elementary schools.

Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain penelitian one-grop pre-test post-test design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VA dan VB di Pondok Pesantren Hidayahtullah Palu berjumlah 56 siswa, dengan teknik proportional random sampling, didapatkan sampel 38 responden. Menggunakan analisis univariat didistribusi ferkuensi dan bivariat (uji wilcoxon). Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain penelitian one-grop pre-test post-test design. This research aims to analyze the causes, characteristics, and strategies for addressing learning difficulties, particularly in the context of Islamic Education (PAI) learning. Using a descriptive qualitative approach based on literature study, this study identifies two main factors causing learning difficulties, namely internal factors (cognitive, motivational, and psychological) and external factors (family, school, and social environment). Data is obtained through a literature review of scientific books, journal articles, previous research findings, and relevant Islamic sources. Data analysis techniques are conducted through qualitative content analysis. The research results indicate that learning difficulties impact low academic achievement and the emergence of maladaptive learning behaviors. Effective handling strategies include adaptive pedagogical interventions through the stages of identification, diagnosis, prognosis, and targeted assistance. This study emphasizes the importance of revitalizing digital-based learning methods and integrating Qur'anic values, such as patience, gratitude, and noble character, as reflected in Surah Al-Insyirah and Luqman. The synergy between teachers, parents, and the educational environment is key in creating an inclusive and meaningful learning atmosphere

This activity is accompanied by social work in sub district level under the coordination of Board of Social Service Regency with the duties and roles as person in charge during implementing the program for strengthening their entrepreneurship spirit so that they do not depend anymore on public assistance, this dependency is a manifestation of the culture of poverty. The aim is to describe the role of social work in strengthening entrepreneurship of KUBE. Research method used qualitative and data collection through interview. Data analysis used SWOT analysis to discover the appropriate strategy. The results showed that the role of social work in business supervising as an enabler, broker, mediator and educator need to be improved. The recommendation goes to institution related to KUBE development, higher education, community agent and Corporate Social Responsibility Program to strengthen the knowledge of social worker in micro business to improve spirit of social entrepreneurship and their business management. The focus is centered on the reflection and understanding of the hadith "Save yourselves from the fire of hell", which emphasizes individual responsibility in moral and spiritual development. The research employs a literature review method, examining a range of scholarly sources that explore both the theoretical and practical aspects of interactive dialogue in the context of Islamic educational practices. The concept of interactive dialogue is explored as a means to create a dynamic and participatory learning environment, where students are encouraged to think critically, ask questions, and reflect on their values and behavior in light of Islamic teachings. Findings from the literature reveal that this method is highly effective in helping students gain a deeper comprehension of religious texts, especially hadith, by relating them to real-life moral challenges. Techniques such as open-ended discussions, contextual case studies, and guided self-reflection activities contribute to more meaningful learning experiences. These approaches not only enhance students’ cognitive engagement but also promote the internalization of Islamic values, encouraging the formation of strong moral character. In conclusion, the interactive dialogue method serves as a valuable educational tool that supports both intellectual and ethical development, making Islamic teachings more relevant and impactful in students’ everyday lives.

With this research, it is hoped that it can provide new input to all parties involved in the art of reading the Qur'an in general and in particular the Al-Falah Lulut Islamic Boarding School as the place of this research. This research is a qualitative research, taking the background of Al-Falah Lulut Islamic Boarding School. Data collection is done by conducting interviews, observations, documentation, and literature review. The data analysis used is qualitative analysis. Qualitative analysis is used to analyze data that is not in the form of numbers, namely the deductive method. The results showed: The results of learning to read the Qur'an using the sorogan method for categories level one, two, and three are quite effective, in the learning process the children are very happy, but in the application of the sorogan method, it is largely determined by the abilities and skills of the tutor ustadz , because the sorogan system in teaching is the most difficult system of the entire Islamic education system.

The research uses a qualitative approach of type of literature research method (Librari Research) and the steps taken are 1) Reviewing the books of science education, Islamic education, the books relevant to the discussion 2) Sorting (reduction) 3) Data grouping 4) Check the validity of the data. The process of data interpretation is done after the examination phase of the data. Interpretation of data and writing of research results by using inductive descriptive analysis. Based on document analysis, the research results show that the authors prepare the materials to be discussed from the books and books relevant to the issues to be discussed, both primary and secondary. Primary sources are books or books that deal with education, both in general education and religious education. The secondary sources are books or books that do not specifically address education but have something to do with the discussion. That Islam is a plenary religion that regulates all aspects of human life including in it religious education in children should follow the concepts that are shown by Allah and His Messenger that is through the holy book (Al-Qur'an) and the Sunnah of His Apostle, in this case means making the Messenger of Allah as the ideal model in an effort to realize the concepts that exist in the Qur'an. Although the Qur'an and As-Sunna have been so firmly obliged to follow it but still there are among Muslim parents who have not made the Qur'an and As-Sunah as a guide in educating their children. Problems arise how our efforts to the concept of Islamic education must be implemented in accordance with the teachings of Islam.

The Islamization process occurred peacefully through trade, preaching, politics, marriage, and education. Institutions such as mosques, suraus, prayer houses, and pesantren served as key centers of Islamic learning that blended with local culture. Using a qualitative approach and library research method, this study traces the dynamics of pre-colonial Islamic educational systems and institutions. The researcher began by searching for primary and secondary sources through databases such as Google Scholar, Garuda, DOAJ, and SINTA using specific keywords. Next, 20 of the most relevant sources were selected. The collected data were then analyzed using a descriptive-analytical approach to examine the development of Islamic education in its social and historical context. The findings indicate that Islamic education played a central role in shaping religious and social identity. Despite challenges such as limited infrastructure and colonial pressure, early Islamic education systems endured and adapted, ultimately becoming a foundational pillar of Indonesia’s national education system today. ABSTRAK Artikel ini mengkaji sejarah perkembangan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia pada masa awal masuknya Islam ke Nusantara. Proses Islamisasi berlangsung secara damai melalui jalur perdagangan, dakwah, politik, pernikahan, dan pendidikan. Lembaga-lembaga seperti masjid, surau, langgar, dan pesantren menjadi pusat utama pendidikan Islam yang menyatu dengan budaya lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka untuk menelusuri dinamika lembaga dan sistem pendidikan Islam pra-kolonial. Penelitian dimulai dengan menelusuri sumber-sumber primer dan sekunder melalui database seperti Google Scholar, Garuda, DOAJ, dan SINTA menggunakan kata kunci tertentu. Selanjutnya, dipilih 20 sumber yang paling relevan. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif-analitis untuk mengkaji perkembangan pendidikan Islam dalam konteks sosial dan historis. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Islam memiliki peran sentral dalam pembentukan identitas keagamaan dan sosial masyarakat. Meskipun menghadapi berbagai tantangan seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur dan tekanan kolonial, sistem pendidikan Islam awal mampu bertahan dan beradaptasi hingga menjadi fondasi penting dalam sistem pendidikan nasional saat ini.

Di tengah krisis moral dan tantangan globalisasi, pendekatan pendidikan yang menekankan pembinaan akhlak dan spiritualitas menjadi sangat penting. Imam al-Ghazali menawarkan pendekatan pendidikan komprehensif yang tidak hanya berfokus pada aspek intelektual, tetapi juga pembentukan jiwa dan moral. Melalui karya-karyanya, al-Ghazali memperkenalkan empat metode utama dalam pendidikan karakter: keteladanan (uswah hasanah), pembiasaan (ta’dib), nasihat (mau’izhah), dan latihan spiritual (riyadhah). Keempat metode ini saling melengkapi dan membentuk dasar pendidikan karakter yang integratif, mencakup dimensi kognitif, afektif, dan spiritual. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi pustaka, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa metode pendidikan al-Ghazali tetap relevan dalam konteks pendidikan modern. One of the prevention strategies that can be used is through educational activities that are accompanied by the cultivation of academic ethical values. This study aims to provide education about the dangers of smoking through counseling based on academic ethics in order to increase junior high school students' awareness and attitudes towards smoking behavior. This activity was carried out using a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, which aims to explore and deeply understand the behavior and attitudes of SMP Negeri 31 Medan students towards smoking. This method was chosen to provide a rich and contextual understanding of the factors that influence smoking behavior and the effectiveness of prevention education through academic ethics counseling. The results of the counseling showed an increase in students' understanding of the dangers of smoking as well as a more critical attitude towards invitations to smoke from the surrounding environment. Students also showed greater interest in healthy behaviors and ethical values in the school environment. Academic ethics-based education is proven to be effective as a medium of counseling in preventing smoking behavior among junior high school students, because it not only touches the health aspect, but also the ethical values.

This study was conducted to determine whether there is an influence of moral aqidah education on the personality of fifth grade students at MIS Mathlail Khoir, this type of research uses quantitative research methods that are descriptive analysis with a total sample of 54 students and the sampling technique is Saturated Sampling as many as 54 students who assigned to students. These instruments are observation, documentation and questionnaires. The method of data analysis was carried out by a simple linear regression technique. Based on the data analysis that has been carried out, the results of the study indicate that the education of moral aqidah and personality of the students in the school is said to be high with a mean value of X 52.93 while Y 43.80. And it shows that there is a significant influence between moral aqidah education on students' personality from the regression equation obtained by Y' = 7.419 + 0.687 X showing that there is a positive or unidirectional relationship, based on the calculation of the coefficient of determination of 34.8% while 65.2% is influenced by by other variables not examined.

This study aims to examine the revitalization of the existence of Islamic boarding schools in the 4.0 era by using the library research method, namely research conducted through data collection that is library in nature. The results of this study indicate that the existence of Islamic boarding schools still exists in the midst of globalization, which can be seen from several indicators, namely (1) Moral values ​​remain the guide and reference in all activities and become the main point of the education system developed in it. (2) as a functional educational institution, Islamic boarding schools are able to provide answers to various problems faced by the community. (3) the pesantren education system is quite anticipatory to the needs of the community, (4) Islamic boarding schools always modernize their education system by not only teaching religious sciences, but also teaching general subjects in the national education system. Terapi storytelling merupakan pendekatan nonfarmakologis yang potensial untuk meredakan kecemasan, terutama … Latar belakang: Hospitalisasi dapat memicu kecemasan signifikan pada anak prasekolah karena keterbatasan kognitif dan emosional dalam memahami prosedur medis. Terapi storytelling merupakan pendekatan nonfarmakologis yang potensial untuk meredakan kecemasan, terutama di wilayah seperti Maluku yang memiliki keterbatasan sumber daya dan konteks budaya tersendiri. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pre-eksperimental dengan pendekatan one group pretest-posttest. Sebanyak 38 anak usia 3–5 tahun yang dirawat di Rumah Sakit Sumber Hidup Ambon dipilih melalui total sampling. Intervensi berupa terapi storytelling dilakukan selama lima hari berturut-turut dalam dua minggu, masing-masing sesi berdurasi ±30 menit, sehingga total durasi intervensi mencapai sekitar 2,5 jam per anak. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Spence Children’s Anxiety Scale (SCAS) versi prasekolah. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji paired t-test. Hasil: Rerata skor kecemasan menurun dari 3,08 menjadi 2,37 (∆ = 0,71), dengan hasil uji statistik menunjukkan nilai p = 0,001 dan confidence interval 95%: 0,525–0,896, yang mengindikasikan penurunan signifikan secara statistik. Sebagian besar anak berpindah dari kategori kecemasan sedang/berat menjadi ringan setelah intervensi. Kesimpulan: Terapi storytelling terbukti efektif menurunkan kecemasan anak prasekolah selama hospitalisasi dan layak diintegrasikan dalam praktik keperawatan anak di daerah kepulauan seperti Maluku. Meskipun demikian, keterbatasan desain tanpa kelompok kontrol menjadi catatan dalam interpretasi hasil. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi praktis bahwa intervensi naratif yang berbasis budaya dapat menjadi strategi atramatik yang sederhana, murah, dan kontekstual dalam pelayanan keperawatan anak. This study explores the implementation of religious character education in a pesantren-based madrasah ibtidaiyah, focusing on MI Al Maarif 02 Singosari, Malang. Method: Using a qualitative case study approach, this research employed semi-structured interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis, with data analyzed thematically following Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. Informants, including teachers, principals, and students, were selected through purposive sampling based on their involvement in religious character development. The validity of qualitative data using triangulation of sources and methods to ensure data credibility.Results: The study found that the religious character values promoted at MI Almaarif 02 Singosari, Malang include honesty (shidq), discipline (istiqamah), social care (ta'awun), environmental responsibility (khalifah fil ardh), and love of worship (mahabbah lil ibadah). These values are instilled through a combination of curricular integration, routine religious practices, and community engagement programs. Contribution of theory: The study contributes to Islamic education theory by supporting Lickona’s framework of character development and Al-Attas’s concept of adab, highlighting the importance of integrating both social and spiritual dimensions in character education. Limitations & Recommendations: The research also acknowledges the limitations of its scope, as the findings are based on a single madrasah, suggesting the need for further studies to explore diverse educational settings.

This study aims to evaluate the suitability of the learning ecosystem with humanist religious principles, identify strengths and weaknesses, and provide strategic recommendations to improve adaptive and relevant learning. Method: Using a qualitative method with a case study approach, this research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Kleco Yogyakarta. The research followed four main procedures: 1) preparation, including problem identification and instrument design; 2) implementation, involving data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation; 3) analysis, where data was systematically processed and interpreted; and 4) reporting of findings. Informants, including teachers, students, and school principals, were selected through purposive sampling based on their relevance to the research objectives. Data collection involved observation, interviews, and documentation, followed by descriptive analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Results: The study found that SD Muhammadiyah Kleco, Yogyakarta, implements child friendly schools through a noncoercive approach, strengthening Islamic character, and teacher-student-parent collaboration. The religious humanist approach emphasizes respectful interactions and moral education. Contribution of theory: Futuristic learning integrates technology but faces challenges in consistency and infrastructure. Supporting Al-Attas' Islamic Education Theory. Recommendations: This study recommends further research on technological adaptation and child friendly school policies in Islamic education.

These pesantren demonstrate a strong commitment to creating a safe, humanistic, and violence-free educational environment, both physically and verbally. The approach used includes participatory and integrative patterns by involving all stakeholders in the planning, organization, implementation, and evaluation of policies and educational as well as caregiving programs. This research adopts a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection methods include observation, questionnaires, interviews, and document analysis. The data analysis techniques consist of data collection, data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing, and verification. Data validity was ensured through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The findings of this study indicate that planning based on Islamic values, strengthening the caregiving role, and synergy between pesantren and families are key factors in preventing violence against students. Clear organizational structures, strict supervision through monitoring systems and CCTV, and active parental involvement further enhance the effectiveness of child-friendly pesantren implementation. This study offers a model of child-friendly pesantren management that can serve as a reference in developing a more inclusive Islamic education system that prioritizes the protection of children's rights.

The design of this research is a Research and Development (R&D). The model used is a procedural model adapted from Dick & Carey’s development model. The results of this research are as follows: (1) comic book-based learning materials developed by simply presenting arranged pictures and equipped with balloon texts can improve the quality of students learning. (2) the material presented in developing learning materials based on this comic is only for the aqidah akhlak subjects, Neighborly Life, and community material of fifth grade of MIN 2 Mojokerto. (3) the eligibility of comic-based materials is done by three test experts, namely (a) the percentage of material experts acquire 85%, (b) the design learning materials expert gets a percentage of 86,6%, and (c) the practitioner or teacher gets 88,3%. Based on the survey, the three test experts believe comic-based materials are worth using as learning materials. (d) The interest in comic-based materials was obtained from the survey assessment performed by students, with an acquisition value of 88.8%. (4) The effectiveness of materials-based comics was assessed using a field test. Based on the field test, it can be concluded that the product materials-based comics produced are effectively used in learning. The paired analysis results showed a significant influence between the pretest and posttest. Based on ? 0.05 and df 19, then retrieved the t table 2,093 field test data retrieved that calculation based on a test-t sample of - 15,567 < -2,188 or t count lies in the area on the rejection of H0. Thus, learning by using comics-based materials in the learning material Living Neighborly Attitudes and Community can be used as learning materials that encourage the students to learn independently and guided. This study shows that comic-based teaching materials can effectively engage students and improve their understanding of Akidah Akhlak, especially on topics like living in harmony and neighborly relations. Using comics, teachers can create more interactive and enjoyable learning experiences that help students grasp moral and social values. This research suggests that comic-based materials can be a valuable tool in the classroom. It encourages further exploration of using comics in other subjects to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.

The research method used is qualitative descriptive with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques through the stages: data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study indicate that Islamic Religious Education teachers at SMK Indonesia Membangun 2 Medan play an active role as educators, moral educators, and role models who guide students through various strategies, such as role models, habituation of worship, personal approaches, and strengthening Islamic values ​​in students' daily lives. Teachers also face various challenges, such as lack of parental involvement and factors in students' social environment. Meanwhile, teachers' efforts in forming akhlakul karimah remain significant in influencing students' positive attitudes and behaviors.

Media sosial sejatinya dapat mendukung sektor pendidikan pada anak. Namun tak jarang tindakan anak dalam media sosial secara tidak sadar dapat dijustifikasi sebagai pelanggaran hukum. Oleh karena itu penting untuk dilakukan sosialisasi kepada para orang tua mengenai bijak dalam menggunakan media sosial. Selain itu, melalui sosialisasi ini juga akan memberikan pemahaman kepada orang tua mengenai pengaturan yang terkait dengan aktivitas dalam media sosial. Dengan adanya pemahaman tersebut menjadi bekal bagi orang tua untuk mengawasi anaknya. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah presentasi dan tanya jawab. Melalui kegiatan ini memberi manfaat kepada orang tua berupa pemahaman akan adanya pelanggaran-pelanggaran dalam penggunaan media sosial yang dapat menjerat anak sekaligus mengingatkan orang tua akan tanggung jawabnya dalam mengawasi anak khususnya dalam penggunaan media sosial.

This study aims to examine … The formation of student character through religious habituation strategies and the school environment plays a crucial role in shaping a morally upright and responsible generation. This study aims to examine the influence of religious habituation strategies and the school environment, both individually and simultaneously on character formation among students at MTs Negeri 9 Jombang. A quantitative approach was employed using an ex post facto design, with a sample of 261 students selected through random sampling. Data were collected using a 30-item questionnaire and analyzed through multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that both religious habituation strategies and the school environment have a significant partial influence on students’ character formation. Simultaneously, these variables also show a significant combined effect in strengthening student character. These results reinforce theories on the critical role of values-based education and environmental factors in shaping student personality in Islamic educational institutions. The study concludes that optimizing religious habituation programs and creating a supportive learning environment are strategic steps in fostering students’ positive character development. The implications include strengthening school policies to build a holistic educational culture within madrasahs and encouraging further research on the effectiveness of character education interventions across broader educational levels.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan dan menilai inovasi pengelolaan yang digunakan di MDT Riyadhul Jannah Bandung untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan meningkatkan kinerja administrasi lembaga. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui pendekatan kualitatif yang menggunakan observasi partisipatif, dokumentasi, dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MDT Riyadhul Jannah menerapkan berbagai inovasi pengelolaan. Ini termasuk menerapkan teknologi informasi dalam administrasi dan pembelajaran, memberikan pelatihan berkelanjutan untuk manajemen SDM, dan membuat program kurikulum yang didasarkan pada nilai dan karakter Islam. Inovasi ini meningkatkan kinerja lembaga, kepuasan siswa, dan keterlibatan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode pengelolaan yang adaptif dan kontekstual menjadi kunci keberhasilan institusi pendidikan Islam dalam menghadapi dinamika tantangan zaman. Kesimpulan penelitian ini dapat digunakan oleh para pemimpin institusi pendidikan Islam lainnya untuk mengoptimalkan cara mereka mengelola organisasi mereka. Penelitian ini fokus pada penerapan instrumen High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Colomadu. Penelitian ini berfokus untuk menganalisis bagaimana instrumen HOTS direncanakan, diterapkan, serta kendala yang dialami oleh para guru dalam konteks pembelajaran mata pelajaran Akidah, Akhlak, dan Tarikh. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa penerapan HOTS dimulai pada tahun 2020 dan telah berkembang secara penuh pada tahun 2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen HOTS meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, tetapi juga mendorong siswa untuk keterampilan membaca, berpikir kritis dan kreatif.

This study aims to describe how human resource management (HRM) is applied to enhace the professionalism of Al-Qur’an teachers at SDS Shibghah Akhlak Quran (SAKURA) in Bekasi City. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings reveal that the application of POAC management functions (planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling) has had a positive impact on improving teacher professionalism, particularly in personal, pedagogical, and spiritual aspects. However, several shortcomings were identified, including inadequate documentation system, the absence of competency-based performance evaluations, and limited teacher training and technological literacy. A SWOT analysis was used to assess the school’s internal and external conditions and to formulate more structured and sustainable HR development strategies.

Untuk mempersiapkan calon guru yang memiliki integritas dan tanggung jawab, Universitas Negeri Malang menawarkan mata kuliah Etika dan Profesionalisme Guru. Artikel ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi dampak pengajaran mata kuliah tersebut khususnya terhadap mahasiswa PPG Prajabatan gelombang 2 tahun 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung terhadap proses pengajaran, wawancara dengan mahasiswa, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mata kuliah Etika dan Profesionalisme Guru berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai prinsip-prinsip etika dan aplikasinya dalam tugas keguruan. Dampak tersebut mencakup penguatan nilai tanggung jawab profesional dan penerapan etika dalam praktik pendidikan yang dirasakan oleh mahasiswa PPG Prajabatan gelombang 2 tahun 2023 di Universitas Negeri Malang. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection was conducted through direct observation of the teaching process, interviews with students, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the Teacher Ethics and Professionalism course has a positive impact on enhancing students' understanding of ethical principles and their application in teaching responsibilities. These impacts include strengthening the values of professional responsibility and the application of ethics in educational practice, as experienced by the pre-service teacher education students in the second cohort of 2023 at Universitas Negeri Malang. The study also highlights the importance of integrating ethics education into teacher training curricula to support the development of character-driven educators.

Prior to the 20th century, Indonesian women experienced marginalization, lacking freedom of thought and facing restricted roles in society. In response to this inequality, several female figures most notably R.A. Kartini emerged as pioneers of emancipation, advocating for women’s rights to receive proper education. This study aims to examine R.A. Kartini’s thoughts on women’s education and their relevance to the principles of Islamic education. Utilizing a qualitative method with a literature review approach, the research analyzes Kartini’s letters alongside supporting literature. The findings reveal that Kartini not only critiqued the patriarchal culture that constrained Javanese women, but also promoted educational values aligned with Islamic teachings, such as the importance of knowledge, justice, and the empowerment of women as a moral and humanitarian responsibility. Though rooted in a local context, Kartini’s ideas hold universal value and remain pertinent to contemporary challenges in Islamic education. The study concludes that Kartini’s struggle can serve as an inspiration for developing an Islamic education model that is responsive to gender equality issues, while remaining grounded in moral and spiritual values consistent with Islamic teachings.

This condition is characterized by the fact that many children's behavior is not in line with religious and moral teachings, requiring special attention from parents and schools. The purpose of this study was to examine the school environment's influence on the formation of moral and religious principles in children aged 5 to 6 years in Ogan Ilir District, South Sumatra. This survey research employed purposive sampling, involving 47 teachers from 6 kindergartens selected based on their location and characteristics in relation to the acquisition of religious and moral learning. Questionnaires were used to collect data, and descriptive statistics were used to examine four primary indicators: religious rituals, modesty norms, moral norms, and educator strategies. The results showed that moral norms were the primary focus in character building, followed by modesty norms and religious rituals. Children's understanding of religious holidays and ability to accept criticism still need to be improved, although the learning strategies implemented are effective. This study suggests implementing a more interactive and collaborative learning approach between teachers and parents to support children's character development.

This program includes interventions in five domains, namely consultative and asymmetric assistance, strengthening school human resources, learning with a new paradigm, data-based planning, and school digitalization. In North Kalimantan itself, this program has been implemented from 2021 to 2024 before its implementation ended in early 2025. This study uses a qualitative research method by observing the implementation of this program in North Kalimantan province. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the school driving program in North Kalimantan province has not been effective. This is due to the difficulty of access to several schools and the slow adjustment of teaching staff to the independent curriculum implemented by the government.

Madrasahs as Islamic educational institutions have an important role in the process of forming the national education system, especially in the integration of religious and general education. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature study method on historical sources, laws and regulations, and related academic literature. The results of the study indicate that madrasahs have undergone significant transformations since the colonial era to the reform era, both in terms of curriculum, management, and institutional status. These changes are influenced by socio-political dynamics, government policies, and the needs of the Muslim community for holistic education. This study emphasizes the importance of historical understanding in formulating more adaptive and competitive madrasah education policies in the future. Thus, mapping the historical development of madrasahs serves as a strategic foundation for strengthening their role as a pillar of Islamic education that remains relevant to contemporary challenges. ABSTRAK Artikel ini mengkaji perkembangan lembaga pendidikan madrasah di Indonesia dari perspektif sejarah pendidikan. Madrasah sebagai institusi pendidikan Islam memiliki peran penting dalam proses pembentukan sistem pendidikan nasional, khususnya dalam integrasi antara pendidikan agama dan umum. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi pustaka terhadap sumber-sumber historis, peraturan perundang-undangan, dan literatur akademik terkait. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa madrasah telah mengalami transformasi signifikan sejak masa kolonial hingga era reformasi, baik dari sisi kurikulum, manajemen, maupun status kelembagaan. Perubahan ini dipengaruhi oleh dinamika sosial-politik, kebijakan pemerintah, dan kebutuhan masyarakat Muslim terhadap pendidikan yang holistik. Kajian ini menegaskan pentingnya pemahaman historis dalam merumuskan kebijakan pendidikan madrasah yang lebih adaptif dan berdaya saing di masa depan. Dengan demikian, pemetaan sejarah perkembangan madrasah menjadi landasan strategis dalam memperkuat peranannya sebagai pilar pendidikan Islam yang relevan dengan tantangan zaman.

This phenomenon requires the ability of individuals to sort and evaluate the information sharply by applying critical thinking. This study aims to examine the verses of the Qur'an that are in line with the principles and theories of critical thinking and their implementation to problems in the digital era through a thematic interpretation approach. The research method used in this study is a literature study (library research) with a qualitative approach. The results of this study explain that the verses of the Qur'an and also interpretations that are in line with the concept of critical thinking are found in Q.S. Al-Hujurat: 6, Q.S. Al-Isra: 36, Q.S. Maryam: 42, Q.S. Az-Zumar: 18, Q.S. An-Nahl: 125, Q.S. Al-Baqarah: 170 and Q.S. An-Nisa: 135. The interpretation of these verses explains the importance of verifying information (tabayyun), healthy skepticism, rational thinking, being selective about information, being open-minded, and also being objective in thinking and acting.

Hasyim Asy’ari’s thought on Qur’anic character education within the context of contemporary Islamic philanthropic institutions, focusing on the Abata Movement Indonesia Foundation. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach through literature review and case study, the research explores the values of adab in Adab al-‘Ālim wa al-Muta‘allim and their actualization in Abata’s educational programs. The findings reveal that character principles such as sincerity (ikhlāṣ), reverence (ta‘zīm), discipline, and exemplary conduct, as taught by KH. Hasyim Asy’ari, have been consistently internalized through habituation activities, teacher role models, and spiritual development for the children under Abata’s care. The actualization of these values serves as a bridge between classical Islamic thought and the demands of modern character education, particularly relevant amid today’s moral and social crises. The study concludes that integrating the intellectual legacy of classical scholars with institutional innovation in Islamic philanthropy plays a strategic role in shaping a Qur’anic generation—one that is not only knowledgeable and virtuous but also capable of contributing meaningfully to society. The implication is that such an approach may serve as a model for community-based Islamic character education.
