The study aims to find out and analyze the influence of competence, motivation, and organizational competence to high school teacher job satisfaction and performance in Jayapura City, Papua, Indonesia. The … The study aims to find out and analyze the influence of competence, motivation, and organizational competence to high school teacher job satisfaction and performance in Jayapura City, Papua, Indonesia. The study was conducted on 117 respondents of 346 teachers by means of questionnaire. Data is analyzed by SEM analysis method in AMOS program. Findings indicate that competence and organizational culture affect positively and insignificantly teacher job satisfaction. While, job motivation affects positively and significantly teacher job satisfaction, but it did not give any significant effect on teacher performance. Competence and job satisfaction affect positively and significantly teacher performance, in fact organizational culture just has positive but insignificant effect to job satisfaction.

But until now permasalahn the quality of education is also finished. Quality education is the expectations and demands of all stakeholders in education. Everyone will certainly prefer menntut science at an institution that has a good quality. On this basis, schools / educational institutions should be able to provide good service and quality in order not to be abandoned and unable to compete with other educational institutions. From a variety of views, criteria and indicators that we can take that quality education could be improved if the school has one) support from the government, 2) Leadership Principals effective, 3) Performance good teacher, 4) relevant curriculum 5) graduates quality, 6) culture and climate of effective organization, 7) the support of the community and parents. Implementation of management in improving the quality of education is a real solution is to be hope in order to manage the indicators of the quality of education to create a synergy in efforts to improve the quality of education.
 
 Abstrak
 Rendahnya mutu pendidikan di Indonesia sebenarnya merupakan diskusi yang telah lama ada. Namun hingga saat ini permasalahn mutu pendidikan tidak juga kunjung selesai. Pendidikan yang berkualitas merupakan harapan dan tuntutan seluruh stakeholder pendidikan. Semua orang tentunya akan lebih suka menntut ilmu pada lembaga yang memiliki mutu yang baik. Atas dasar ini maka sekolah/ lembaga pendidikan harus dapat memberikan pelayanan dan mutu yang baik agar tidak ditinggalkan dan mampu bersaing dengan lembaga pendidikan lainnya. Dari berbagai pandangan, kriteria serta indikator yang dapat kita ambil bahwa pendidikan yang bermutu dapat ditingkatkan apabila sekolah memiliki 1) dukungan dari pemerintah, 2) Kepemimpinan Kepala sekolah yang efektif, 3) Kinerja guru yang baik, 4) kurikulum yang relevan, 5) lulusan yang berkualitas, 6) budaya dan iklim organisasi yang efektif, 7) dukungan masyarkat dan orang tua siswa. Implementasi manajemen dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan merupakan sebuah solusi nyata yang menjadi harapan agar dapat mengelola indikator mutu pendidikan untuk saling bersinergi dalam upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan

Artikel ini bertujuan mereview bagaimana guru di masa pandemi, yang difokuskan pada aspek pembelajaran daring (pelaksanaan, tantangan, dan solusi). Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan metode studi perbadingan literatur. Penulis menelusuri literatur primer secara daring, yang memiliki kriteria valid dan bereputasi baik. Analisis data menggunakan paradigma analisis konten. Hasil review menunjukkan bahwa guru melaksanakan kebijakan pemerintah melalui pembelajaran daring. Berbagai flatform digunakan dalam pembelajaran daring. Berbagai respon positif disampaikan peserta didik terkait pembelajaran daring. Namun demikian pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring memiliki tantangan/kendala, baik dari aspek sumber daya manusia, sarana-prasarana, dan teknis implementasi. Sebagai rekomendasi ke depan, dibutuhkan kemitraan publik dan keterlibatan banyak pihak secara berkelanjutan. Kompetensi dan keterampilan guru harus terus diperkaya, didukung oleh kebijakan sekolah yang mendorong guru terus belajar. Pihak terkait juga perlu mengevaluasi pembelajaran daring tersebut agar tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai secara optimal. Beban belajar peserta didik tentunya harus diperhitungkan, terukur, baik secara materi maupun waktu. Guru tidak boleh semata-mata memberikan tugas, tetapi harus memperhitungkan secara matang. Guru tidak boleh lupa untuk mengapresiasi capaian peserta didik. Kurikulum yang fleksibel dan siap menghadapi pandemi juga dibutuhkan.
Teacher leadership is commonly discussed in educational research and practice. Yet, the relationship between teacher leadership and student achievement has not been soundly established by empirical evidence. The purpose of … Teacher leadership is commonly discussed in educational research and practice. Yet, the relationship between teacher leadership and student achievement has not been soundly established by empirical evidence. The purpose of this meta-analysis was to examine the extent to which teacher leadership was related to students' academic achievement. The results revealed that teacher leadership was positively related to student achievement (r = .19). Among seven dimensions of teacher leadership which were all positively associated with student achievement, facilitating improvements in curriculum, instruction, and assessment has shown strongest relationship. The results of subgroup analysis indicated the relationships were similar among studies conceptualizing teacher leadership and using outcome measures differently, and for elementary and secondary school students. However, published studies reported larger effect sizes than unpublished studies. The implications and limitations are discussed.

Masalah mutu lulusan diberbagai jenjang dan jenis sekolah dipengaruhi pula oleh kualitas manajemen pembelajaran yang diterapkan di sekolah. Fakta bahwa seluruh proses dan hasil belajar yang dicapai siswa sangat tergantung kepada peranan, tugas dan tanggung jawab kepala sekolah dan guru di sekolah. Salah satu tugas dan peran kepala sekolah dan guru adalah pengelola proses pembelajar yang bertumpu pada kinerja yang bermutu. Proses pengelolaan di sekolah harus dimulai dari tahap perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, pengawasan, penilaian dan tindak lanjut. Yang menjadi tuntutan itu adalah supaya proses manajemen pembelajaran dimaksud dilakukan dengan baik dan benar oleh guru yang profesional, sehingga memuat konten pembelajaran yang mampu menghasilkan kompetensi akademik dan non akademik yang utuh di dalam diri siswa. Oleh karena itu, kualitas kerja guru dalam merencanakan sampai mengevaluasi dan menggunakan hasil belajar peserta didik, berkorelasi positif dengan mutu lulusan di sekolah. Guru yang memiliki kinerja manajerial positif yang tercermin secara efektif dalam proses belajar mengajar, tentu akan memberikan dampak besar terhadap hasil pembelajaran yang dicapai oleh peserta didiknya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen mutu dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan di SMPN 1 Karawang Barat sudah dilakukan berdasarkan fungsi-fungsi manajemen. Perencanaan manajemen mutu dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan di SMPN 1 Karawang Barat mengacu kepada standar pengelolaan pendidikan yang menjadi ketetapan Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (BSNP) sehingga mencerminkan standar pengelolaan yang unggul dan berdaya saing. Pelaksanaan program pengelolaan pendayagunaan pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan yaitu melalui MGMP, workshop, in house training, pelatihan-pelatihan, penerapan sistem reward and punishment yang jelas bagi Guru, Tenaga Kependidikan dan Siswa. Pengawasan dan evaluasi terhadap manajemen mutu pendidikan pada SMPN 1 Karawang Barat adalah terkait input seperti sarana prasarana, peserta didik, tenaga pendidik, pembiayaan dan lain-lainnya belum sesuai dengan standar yang diharapkan untuk mencapai kualitas pendidikan.

The purpose of this theoretical debate is to examine the wider context of leadership and its effectiveness towards improving school management. This academic evaluation examines recent theoretical developments in the study of educational leadership in school management. It begins with a concise overview of the meaning and concept of leadership in terms of research, theory, and practice. This is followed by an examination of the theories of leadership, principles and styles of leadership. Each section ends with an identification of contemporary issues and possible means of amelioration. This article concludes that success is certain if the application of the leadership styles, principles and methods is properly and fully applied in school management because quality educational leadership tradition offers great opportunity to further refine educational leadership and management policies and practices by accepting and utilizing the basic principles and styles of educational leadership.

In the context of rapidly evolving educational demands, principals are expected to manage … School principals play a crucial role in improving the quality of teacher instruction and overall educational outcomes. In the context of rapidly evolving educational demands, principals are expected to manage administrative tasks and act as instructional leaders. This study aims to explore the role of principal leadership in enhancing the quality of teacher instruction at Madrasah Nurul Hakim. Using a qualitative ethnographic approach, data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with the principal, teachers, and students, and documentation analysis. The findings reveal that the principal implements a participatory leadership style that supports continuous supervision, encourages professional development, and fosters teacher involvement in decision-making processes. The principal effectively enhances teacher competence and instructional performance through regular classroom monitoring, academic supervision, and informal reflective discussions. The impact of such leadership extends to students, who demonstrate increased engagement, discipline, and enthusiasm for learning. It is concluded that effective principal leadership significantly contributes to improving teacher professionalism, positively affecting the quality of learning in schools

This study aims to analyze the implementation of context evaluation, input, process, and product in the SPMI-based education quality supervision program evaluation activities at public elementary schools in East Lombok … This study aims to analyze the implementation of context evaluation, input, process, and product in the SPMI-based education quality supervision program evaluation activities at public elementary schools in East Lombok Regency. This study employed a qualitative approach using the CIPP model. The subjects of this study consisted of key informants, namely principals, and supporting informants, including teachers, school education quality assurance teams, and students. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, documentation, and literature studies. The data analysis technique utilized an interactive analysis model comprising three main components: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results show that input aspects face challenges, particularly in teacher availability and infrastructure, while financial support is sufficient. The process aspect demonstrates improvements through the consistent implementation of the SPMI cycle, supported by principals, teachers, and TPMPS teams. Product evaluation indicates progress in several National Education Standards, including graduate competencies and school management, although issues persist in content and infrastructure standards. Overall, the program’s effectiveness depends on strong input quality and process execution to produce optimal educational outcomes in a sustainable and integrated manner.

Dengan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif, penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Sukataris dan SDN Kadudampit, melibatkan kepala sekolah dan guru kelas yang aktif dalam praktik supervisi akademik. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi, serta dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi akademik, jika direncanakan secara kolaboratif, dilaksanakan secara reflektif, dan dievaluasi secara sistematis, berkontribusi signifikan terhadap pengembangan profesional guru. Tahap perencanaan melibatkan guru dalam penetapan tujuan dan penyusunan instrumen supervisi yang sesuai dengan standar pedagogik. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, kepala sekolah menggunakan teknik supervisi langsung dan tidak langsung seperti observasi kelas, sesi coaching, dan telaah dokumen pembelajaran, dengan penekanan pada umpan balik konstruktif dan pemberdayaan guru. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui diskusi reflektif dan analisis kualitatif untuk menilai perbaikan pengajaran dan merumuskan strategi supervisi lanjutan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa supervisi akademik yang efektif, dipimpin oleh kepala sekolah dengan kepemimpinan instruksional dan transformasional, dapat menjadi instrumen yang kuat dalam mendorong peningkatan berkelanjutan mutu pembelajaran. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi supervisi dalam sistem manajemen berbasis sekolah untuk mendorong pengembangan guru yang berkelanjutan di sekolah dasar Indonesia.

Specifically aimed to determine teachers’ level of self-awareness about the … The study aimed to determine the influence of teachers’ self-awareness on Result-based Performance management system (RPMS) compliance in Manay District. Specifically aimed to determine teachers’ level of self-awareness about the implementation of (RPMS); evaluate the teacher’s teachers level of compliance with its implementation; determine the significant influence between the independent variable and dependent variable; identify issues and concerns encountered by teachers in its implementation, and gather suggestions from teachers for the improvement of its implementation. The researcher employed a quantitative type of research, particularly the descriptive survey design—a total of 158 identified respondents through stratified proportionate sampling. The respondents answered the researcher-made questionnaire that underwent content validation and inter-rater reliability testing. Quantitative data were treated statistically through mean, multiple regression, and frequency distribution to determine the most pressing issues and concerns relative to RPMS implementation. Suggestions are comprehensively analyzed as practical means towards RPMS. Results of the study revealed that the level of teachers’ self-awareness in terms of RPMS’RPMS’RPMS’ Core Behavioral Competencies and Core Skills is consistently demonstrated with an overall rating of 4.14. The teacher’s level of compliance with the RPMS’s performance cycle is very satisfactory, with an average of 4.35, which means that the implementation of RPMS in the school exceeded expectations. Teachers’ compliance with the RPMS cycle is significantly dependent on the teachers’ self-awareness of RPMS Core Behavioral Competencies and Core Skills.

Using a literature review method, with a research focus on the evolution of the mudarabah contract over time and its prospects for application in the modern banking system. Historical analysis shows how mudarabah has adapted to the changing socioeconomic and financial regulatory challenges over time, as well as the evolution of its practice based on the principle of profit sharing and Islamic commercial ethics. The results of the study show that innovation and adaptation in Islamic financial products, including mudarabah contracts, have strengthened their relevance in the modern era, indicating significant growth in global Islamic banking. This article closes by discussing the prospects of mudarabah contracts as ethical and sustainable financial instruments in the modern banking ecosystem, given the increasing demand for responsible and fair financial alternatives, as well as the important role of financial technology in expanding the reach and efficiency of sharia financial transactions.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pandangan siswa terhadap praktik asesmen, terutama yang berkaitan dengan proses pengumpulan informasi tentang kemampuan siswa, kememadaian umpan balik berdasarkan hasil asesmen, serta tindak lanjut hasil asesmen. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui dokumentasi dan wawancara semi-terstruktur terhadap 29 orang siswa kelas 3, 4, dan 5 di 2 SD di Kota Mataram. Data kemudian dianalisis dengan model constant comparative. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa siswa menilai ada banyak keterbatasan dalam praktik asesmen guru, terutama kepekaan guru terhadap kesulitan siswa memahami petunjuk pengerjaan dan maksud soal, ketidakmemadaian informasi yang terkandung di dalam umpan balik hasil asesmen, serta kurangnya tindak lanjut asesmen dalam bentuk perbaikan strategi pembelajaran yang diterapkan guru dan metode belajar yang digunakan siswa. Temuan penting penelitian ini adalah keterbatasan dampak asesmen sebagai cara untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar dilakukan peningkatan literasi asesmen melalui berbagai wadah pengembangan professional guru dengan memanfaatkan paradigma yang akomodatif terhadap realitas keseharian yang dialami guru. Penelitian ini menganjurkan kepada peneliti selanjutnya untuk mengkaji dampak keterbatasan praktik asesmen yang dilakukan guru terhadap capaian belajar siswa.

This study aims … The quality of learning is an important indicator in assessing the success of the education system. Quality is also greatly influenced by the effectiveness of financing planning. This study aims to analyze direct financing planning in improving the quality of learning at SMP Islam An Nasiriin using GR Terry's management theory, which includes the functions of planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. This study uses a case study approach, with data collection methods through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that SMP Islam Nasiriin has carried out financing planning correctly. Planning is based on learning needs; organizing is done through a clear division of tasks; implementation is directed at quality improvement activities; and supervision includes financial evaluation and student learning outcomes. Despite challenges such as limited teacher financial literacy and minimal digitalization, the school is able to respond adaptively through internal training and managerial innovation. In conclusion, direct financing planning with the right managerial approach contributes positively to improving the quality of learning, and can be a model for other educational units in results-based education financing planning.

The research involved 416 new students selected through purposive … This study aims to examine the profile of academic anxiety among first-year students of the 2024 cohort at Universitas Negeri Padang. The research involved 416 new students selected through purposive sampling, with data collected online via Google Forms using a Likert-scale questionnaire. The instrument employed was the Academic Anxiety Scale developed by Ottens (1991). This quantitative study utilized two-way factorial analysis of variance (ANOVA) to determine differences in anxiety levels based on age, gender, academic program, and place of origin. The results indicate that, in general, first-year students at Universitas Negeri Padang fall within the moderate category of academic anxiety. This finding suggests that although most students have not yet exhibited severe anxiety symptoms, they still require academic attention and support to prevent an escalation during the early stages of university transition. The implication is that higher education institutions should develop counseling services, orientation programs, and adaptive learning strategies to help new students manage academic demands in a healthy and productive manner.

Dalam era globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi yang pesat, peran kepala sekolah semakin penting dalam mengelola dan memimpin sekolah untuk menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang tidak hanya berkualitas, tetapi juga berkarakter. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini difokuskan pada upaya kepala sekolah dalam melakukan transformasi kepemimpinan untuk menciptakan budaya sekolah yang mendukung pengembangan karakter peserta didik, staf, dan lingkungan sekolah secara keseluruhan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik. Subjek penelitian ini melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru, dan beberapa siswa yang terlibat langsung dalam kegiatan pendidikan di SDN Semangat Dalam 2 Kabupaten Barito Kuala. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa transformasi kepemimpinan yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah melibatkan beberapa langkah strategis, di antaranya adalah penerapan visi dan misi sekolah yang berfokus pada karakter siswa, peningkatan kompetensi guru melalui pelatihan berbasis karakter, serta penerapan program-program berbasis nilai-nilai karakter dalam kegiatan sehari-hari di sekolah. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang partisipatif dan komunikatif terbukti berhasil membangun kerja sama yang solid antara seluruh pemangku kepentingan sekolah, termasuk guru, siswa, dan orang tua. Selain itu, pengelolaan dan penataan lingkungan fisik sekolah juga berkontribusi pada pembentukan karakter positif siswa.Dengan demikian, transformasi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah di SDN Semangat Dalam 2 Kabupaten Barito Kuala memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap terbentuknya organisasi pendidikan yang berkarakter, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki peran berbagai gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam mendorong kinerja guru dan peningkatan mutu pembelajaran di sekolah. Dengan mengikuti metode PRISMA, diambil 20 artikel ilmiah dari tahun 2019-2024 yang membahas gaya kepemimpinan dan pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja guru serta mutu pembelajaran untuk dianalisis. Hasil tinjauan literatur menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan otentik paling efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi, kolaborasi, dan profesionalisme guru, yang berdampak positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kepemimpinan demokratis yang melibatkan guru dalam pengambilan keputusan juga meningkatkan kinerja dan rasa kepemilikan guru. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya penerapan gaya kepemimpinan yang sesuai untuk memaksimalkan potensi guru dan hasil belajar siswa.

The performance of teaching staff is a key factor in ensuring academic excellence, and it is significantly affected by internal factors such as the compensation they receive and their level of motivation. Survey questionnaires were given to full-time faculty members at STIE YAPAN Surabaya in order to gather data. An investigation was conducted utilizing multiple linear regression to assess how compensation and motivation impact teaching effectiveness independently and together. The findings indicated that both compensation and motivation play a crucial role in enhancing teaching performance, showing a positive and substantial impact when considered separately as well as together. These findings suggest that improving financial rewards and enhancing motivational support can lead to better performance among academic staff. This research provides valuable input for higher education management in developing effective strategies to improve the quality and productivity of educators.

Through a literature study approach, the discussion covers the role of ethics in decision-making, improving the quality of learning, strengthening student character, and efforts to maintain public trust in educational institutions. In addition, this article highlights ethical challenges in the use of digital technology, such as data privacy issues, the digital divide, and academic authenticity. Various strategies for implementing professional ethics values ​​are presented, such as strengthening organizational culture, developing ethics-based policies, ongoing training, an accountable monitoring system, and integrating ethics into performance assessments. Penelitian ini memadukan metodologi studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi merupakan beberapa metode yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data. Kepala sekolah dan guru-guru berperan sebagai subjek penelitian, dan penelitian dilakukan di SD Negeri 1 Sakra Selatan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, kepala sekolah: (1) berperan sebagai administrator dengan mengorganisasikan, merencanakan, menggerakkan, dan menilai kegiatan-kegiatan untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan; (2) melakukan supervisi, menengahi konflik antara guru dan siswa, menegakkan disiplin, memberi inspirasi, berinovasi, bekerja sama dengan pihak luar, memberikan bimbingan terus-menerus kepada siswa, mengembangkan dan meningkatkan kompetensi guru, dan membuat keputusan; (3) Faktor-faktor yang mendukung peningkatan mutu pendidikan meliputi luasnya jaringan relasi, dukungan dari organisasi eksternal, kebebasan siswa dalam memilih, serta keberadaan guru pembimbing, sementara faktor penghambat mencakup ketidaksesuaian sistem dengan kantor, pergantian guru yang cukup sering, kendala dalam penerapan pembelajaran digital, masalah pembiayaan, dan rendahnya kepedulian dari warga sekolah.

Although the education budget in Indonesia is quite … Education financing is a crucial element in the national education system that directly or indirectly affects the quality and performance of educators. Although the education budget in Indonesia is quite large, its distribution and effectiveness are still challenges, especially in supporting teacher professionalism. This study aims to empirically determine the effect of education financing on teacher performance at SMAT Baiturrahman, especially in terms of providing facilities and infrastructure, professional training, and performance incentives. This study uses a case study approach with a survey data collection method through a Likert-scale closed questionnaire. The research sample consisted of 13 teachers taken using the total sampling technique. The data were analyzed using validity, reliability, descriptive, normality, and linear regression tests through the help of SPSS 25 software. The results of the study showed that education financing had a significant effect on teacher performance, with an R Square value of 0.513 indicating that 51.3% of the variation in teacher performance can be explained by education financing. This finding is reinforced by the results of the t-test and F-test which showed a significance of <0.05, which means that financing has a positive and significant effect. Targeted financing is a key factor in improving teacher performance. There is a positive influence on the performance of SMAT Baiturrahman teachers.

This study uses a quantitative approach using an achievement scale and a cheating scale. The population in this study is students of grades X and XI of SMA X Makassar with a sampling technique using a simple random sampling method. The research involved 249 students of SMA X Makassar. The r value of -0.450 (p=0.000) in the results of this study showed that there was a negative and significant relationship between achievement motivation and cheating behavior of SMA X Makassar students. The higher the achievement motivation, the lower the student's cheating behavior. On the other hand, the lower the motivation for achievement, the higher the cheating behavior possessed by students. The findings of this study have implications for the development of knowledge related to achievement motivation and cheating behavior, as well as providing guidance for students and teachers to increase their achievement motivation in order to reduce and avoid cheating behavior at school.

A survey method with a correlation approach was employed, using questionnaires distributed to 25 teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Martapura as respondents. To collect data on variables X (school climate) and Y (teacher job satisfaction), a Likert-scale questionnaire was used as the research instrument. The results of this study indicated that teachers perceive their school climate as an open type; however, the intimacy dimension remains relatively low. In addition, many teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Martapura reported a moderate level of job satisfaction. The product-moment correlation coefficient test yields a count of 0.612, which is greater than the table of 0.396 at a 5% significance level. This demonstrates a positive correlation between school climate and teacher job satisfaction.

Although prior research has shown inconsistent results, these characteristics are thought to be significant drivers of audit quality in the audit literature. Regression analysis and a quantitative method were used to gather data from a survey of auditors working at a public accounting firm in Medan City. The analysis's findings demonstrated that, although the auditor's work experience and motivation for the job did not significantly affect the audit's quality, their professionalism did. These findings emphasize the importance of focusing on developing a professional attitude in improving audit quality, which can be a foundation for audit practitioners in improving their practice. The practical implications of these findings include the expansion of auditor training and professional development in the audit industry, as well as the need for regulators to strengthen policies that support ethical standards and professionalism in audit practice. However, more investigation can uncover other variables that could impact audit quality and expand knowledge of the intricate interrelationships among these variables across a range of organisational and sector settings. Therefore, this study adds significantly to our knowledge of the variables influencing audit quality and offers guidance for future audit practice and research.

Program ini menggunakan model pelatihan "in-on-in" yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahapan: pembelajaran in-service 1, pembelajaran di tempat kerja, dan pembelajaran in-service 2. Empat belas kepala sekolah dasar negeri di Yogyakarta berpartisipasi. Program ini fokus pada pengembangan keterampilan coaching, termasuk mendengarkan aktif, membangkitkan kesadaran, dan memfasilitasi pertumbuhan. Setelah seluruh tahapan program dilaksanakan, 85% peserta melaporkan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang peran kepala sekolah dalam coaching, sebagian besar pun merasa lebih percaya diri untuk mendukung pengembangan guru. Selain itu, program ini memperoleh wawasan tambahan mengenai pentingnya pemahaman terhadap budaya sekolah dan bagaimana kepala sekolah dapat melakukan coaching dengan metode percakapan yang lebih reflektif serta berorientasi pada tujuan dengan guru.

The main focus of this study is to analyze how the DPRD affects the allocation of education budgets, supervision of education policies, as well as their involvement in policy formulation oriented towards improving the quality of education at the local level. Methodology: This research uses a qualitative approach with document analysis and interviews with members of the DPRD, education officials, and related stakeholders in several regions in Indonesia. Results: The results show that although the DPRD has an important role in budgeting and monitoring education policies, policy implementation is often hampered by several factors, such as limited budgets allocated to the education sector, lack of effective coordination between local and central governments, and structural barriers to transparent and participatory decision-making. In addition, the lack of public participation in the process of making education policies also affects the effectiveness of the policies implemented. The study also found that despite efforts from the DPRD to fight for a larger education budget, disproportionate allocation of funds and lack of effective oversight can reduce the impact of such policies. Conclusion: This research is expected to provide useful insights for policymakers and legislative institutions in increasing the effectiveness of the role of the DPRD in improving the quality of education in the regions.

Studi ini berupaya mengidentifikasi kesenjangan literatur dan memetakan struktur pengetahuan dalam bidang tersebut, khususnya terkait efisiensi anggaran dan perencanaan keuangan. Data diperoleh dari database Scopus menggunakan kata kunci “education”, “budget”, dan “management”, dengan kriteria inklusi berupa artikel jurnal terindeks Scopus yang diterbitkan dalam periode 2019–2025. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak VOSviewer dengan metode co-occurrence analysis untuk memetakan keterkaitan antar kata kunci. Hasil visualisasi menunjukkan bahwa istilah seperti “budget efficiency”, “financial planning”, “public school”, dan “elementary education” sering muncul bersama, mencerminkan fokus tematik penelitian dalam konteks pendidikan dasar negeri. Temuan ini mengungkap bahwa efisiensi manajemen anggaran erat kaitannya dengan praktik perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengendalian anggaran yang partisipatif, transparan, dan akuntabel. Kontribusi unik dari penelitian ini terletak pada visualisasi tematik literatur manajemen anggaran di konteks sekolah dasar negeri, yang masih jarang dieksplorasi dalam kajian bibliometrik sebelumnya. Studi ini juga menutup kekosongan literatur terkait peta keilmuan yang komprehensif dalam bidang tersebut, serta memberikan implikasi penting bagi tata kelola keuangan yang lebih efektif guna mendukung peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dasar.
This research analyzes the interest of students from the 2023 cohort of the Information Systems Study Program at State Islamic University of North Sumatra (UINSU) toward student organizations HMI, UKOMI, … This research analyzes the interest of students from the 2023 cohort of the Information Systems Study Program at State Islamic University of North Sumatra (UINSU) toward student organizations HMI, UKOMI, LPM, and LDK. Using a quantitative descriptive method with an online survey approach, the research involved 51 student respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics and chi-square tests. The results showed a low level of student participation in student organizations, with 84.3% of respondents being inactive, and academic focus being the main reason for inactivity at 52.1%. The chi-square test indicated no significant relationship between gender and organizational activity (p-value = 0.50699), suggesting that academic factors and competency development more dominantly influence organizational decisions. Among active students, HMI was the most popular organization 87.5%, with soft skill development as the primary motivation 50%. There was potential interest 68% in organizations directly related to the field of information systems. This research recommends developing leadership training programs and information technology skills integrated with the academic curriculum to increase student participation

Jenis studi ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei, dan data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner. Studi ini melibatkan 33 orang guru SMP Negeri 3 Rembang dengan menggunakan seluruh anggota populasi untuk dijadikan sampel (sampel jenuh). Melalui analisis regresi linier berganda diperoleh temuan dimana variabel motivasi dan disiplin kerja mempunyai dampak signifikan pada kinerja guru, sementara variabel kompetensi dan lingkungan kerja tidak terbukti berpengaruh signifikan. Nilai R² sebesar 0,846 menunjukkan bahwa model penelitian ini mampu menjelaskan 84,6% variasi kinerja guru. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya faktor motivasi dan disiplin kerja dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru. These factors play a crucial role in improving school services and overall educational outcomes. This study was conducted to explore how these variables impact the quality of education in public junior high schools in the Sungai Durian subdistrict, Kotabaru Regency. The objective of this research was to determine the influence of financial management, school climate, and teacher performance on the quality of education in public junior high schools. A quantitative and explanatory research approach was used in this study. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents, including school administrators, teachers, and staff. The analysis employed multiple linear regression, with a T-test to examine the significance of the relationships between the variables. The study found that financial management, school climate, and teacher performance all have a positive relationship with school services and the quality of education. The T-test results showed that the values for financial management (4.343), school climate (3.426), and teacher performance (3.426) were higher than the T-table value, indicating significant positive influences. These findings suggest that improving financial management, enhancing the school climate, and increasing teacher performance are essential strategies for improving the quality of education in junior high schools. Educational authorities should focus on these areas to foster a more conducive learning environment and better educational outcomes.

The … : This study aims to analyze the leadership synergy between School Leadership Principals and School Committees in improving the quality of education from the perspective of elementary school teachers. The research employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive design. The population consists of all teachers at public elementary schools in Ilir Barat I District, Palembang, totaling 113 individuals. A sample of 88 teachers was selected using a proportional stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 26.00. The results indicate that both teacher perceptions of the leadership of School Leadership Principals and the role of School Committees have a positive and significant impact on the quality of education, both individually and simultaneously. These findings highlight that synergy between visionary and participatory school principals and active school committees can serve as a strategic force in supporting the improvement of basic education quality. The implications of this study can serve as a foundation for educational policy formulation and for strengthening collaboration among school stakeholders.
The purpose of this study was to explore the human resource management challenges facing the owner-managers of private basic schools in Akuapem South Municipality in the Eastern Region of Ghana. … The purpose of this study was to explore the human resource management challenges facing the owner-managers of private basic schools in Akuapem South Municipality in the Eastern Region of Ghana. It was a qualitative study underpinned by the interpretivist paradigm and employed a case study design. The sample of the study comprised 8 owner-managers selected through the maximal variation sampling technique. A semi-structured interview guide was used to collect data, which was analysed thematically. The study revealed, among others, that the human resource management challenges facing the owner-managers included a high teacher attrition rate, parents' failure to attend meetings, and the failure of education authorities to perform their expected roles in private school management. The study concluded, among others, that the owner-managers of private schools face the challenge of retaining teachers whom they train after recruitment because of unmet salary expectations. The teachers often move to other schools with relatively higher salaries offered after they are trained, requiring the owner-managers to regularly recruit new teachers. The study, therefore, recommended that the leadership of the private school associations in the municipalities should structure the teacher salaries in the area. Making salaries equitable has the potential to ensure teacher retention. Teachers could also be offered promotional or advancement opportunities, which could be aligned with teacher qualifications and salary as a mechanism for their retention.

This study is a quantitative study using secondary data obtained through access to the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The population used was 24 pharmaceutical and cosmetic sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2021-2023. Sampling was carried out using the purposive sampling method, which resulted in a total of 19 companies with an observation period from 2021 to 2023, and resulted in a total of 57 observations. The data analysis technique applied in this study is logistic regression analysis using the SPSS program. Based on the results of this study, it is known that audit fees affect audit quality, audit tenure affects audit quality, auditor specialization affects audit quality, auditor reputation affects audit quality and company size affects audit quality.

The … This study aims to explore the influence of competence, work motivation, and managerial strategies on teacher performance and their impact on the quality of education in Islamic educational institutions. The focus of the research is directed at integrated Islamic madrassas and schools, which are committed to maintaining the quality of education amid limited resources. The Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method was used to analyze the causal relationship between these variables, with data obtained through surveys from teachers in several Islamic educational institutions. The results of the study show that teacher competence has a significant effect on teaching performance, which ultimately improves the quality of education. In addition, work motivation plays an important mediating role, where continuous career development can maintain teacher commitment. Managerial strategies implemented by school leaders also contribute positively to increasing productivity and teacher focus in teaching. This study concludes that the combination of competence, motivation, and adequate managerial support is a key factor in improving teacher performance and education quality in Islamic educational institutions. This finding provides recommendations for managers of Islamic educational institutions to focus on developing human resources to achieve optimal quality of education

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang kuat, terstruktur, dan visioner terhadap peningkatan prestasi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah dengan gaya kepemimpinan yang kuat mampu menciptakan lingkungan yang disiplin dan stabil melalui ketegasan dalam pengambilan keputusan, efisiensi pengelolaan sumber daya, serta penerapan disiplin yang adil. Gaya kepemimpinan terstruktur tercermin dari perencanaan program kerja yang sistematis, pengelolaan kurikulum yang terarah, dan evaluasi berkala, yang semuanya berkontribusi pada efektivitas pembelajaran. Sementara itu, kepemimpinan visioner terlihat dari kemampuan merumuskan visi-misi jangka panjang yang inspiratif, mendorong inovasi, serta menggerakkan seluruh warga sekolah untuk mencapai tujuan bersama. Ketiga gaya kepemimpinan tersebut secara sinergis menciptakan iklim sekolah yang kondusif, terorganisir, dan penuh motivasi, yang berdampak langsung pada peningkatan prestasi siswa secara akademik maupun non-akademik. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan kapasitas kepemimpinan kepala sekolah sebagai strategi utama dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan.

Produktivitas ini dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor psikologis, khususnya komitmen berkelanjutan dan motivasi kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh komitmen berkelanjutan dan motivasi, baik secara parsial maupun simultan, terhadap produktivitas kerja guru di SMK Negeri 3 Jakarta Pusat. Komitmen berkelanjutan merujuk pada keterikatan guru terhadap institusi karena pertimbangan rasional dan emosional, sedangkan motivasi mencakup dorongan internal maupun eksternal dalam bekerja. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik survei dan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baik secara parsial maupun simultan, komitmen berkelanjutan dan motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja guru. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pengelolaan sumber daya manusia di lingkungan sekolah yang tidak hanya fokus pada aspek administratif, tetapi juga memperhatikan aspek psikologis dan emosional guru. Secara akademis, penelitian ini memperkaya literatur manajemen pendidikan yang berfokus pada pendidikan vokasi, sementara secara praktis, hasilnya dapat dijadikan acuan dalam merancang kebijakan strategis untuk meningkatkan kinerja dan kesejahteraan guru. This study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data obtained from the company's annual report available on the official IDX website and related company websites. The sample used a purposive sampling method, with a total of 208 financial reports from 90 energy sector companies that met the research criteria. The data analysis methods used include descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation), and multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 25 software. The results of the study reflect that partially, audit tenure, auditor switching and audit opinion have a significant effect on audit report lag. Simultaneously, the three independent variables have a significant effect on audit report lag.

Tujuan : Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi program sertifikasi guru di Indonesia pasca-Undang-Undang Nomor … Latar Belakang : Adanya ketidakselarasan antara peningkatan kesejahteraan ekonomi guru melalui tunjangan profesi dengan transformasi kualitas pembelajaran. Tujuan : Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi program sertifikasi guru di Indonesia pasca-Undang-Undang Nomor 14 Tahun 2005 dengan fokus pada empat dimensi utama: tujuan dan manfaat sertifikasi, proses sertifikasi, urgensi uji kompetensi, dan efek rantai sertifikasi. Metode : Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis analisis data sekunder dari publikasi ilmiah dan dokumentasi implementasi program. Hasil dan Pembahasan : Studi empiris menunjukkan kontribusi sertifikasi guru terhadap prestasi belajar siswa berkisar antara 41,4%-62,5%, namun terdapat variabilitas signifikan berdasarkan konteks geografis dan institusional. Penelitian menemukan kesenjangan dalam distribusi guru tersertifikasi antara guru PNS (89,19%) dan non-PNS (46,73%), serta ketidakkonsistenan korelasi antara status sertifikasi dengan kompetensi profesional. Temuan ini mengindikasikan perlunya rekonseptualisasi paradigma sertifikasi dari pendekatan administratif menjadi sistem pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan yang terintegrasi dengan dinamika pembelajaran kontemporer. Kesimpulan : Penelitian merekomendasikan reformulasi mekanisme uji kompetensi, pengembangan evaluasi pasca-sertifikasi, implementasi pendampingan terstruktur, diversifikasi alokasi tunjangan profesi, dan penguatan integrasi dengan sistem penjaminan mutu pendidikan melalui kolaborasi multi-stakeholder.

A quantitative method with a causal associative approach was … This study aims to analyze the effect of human resource management (HRM) strategies on teacher performance at MTs Laboratorium UIN Bukittinggi. A quantitative method with a causal associative approach was employed. Data were collected through a closed-ended questionnaire distributed to 11 full-time teachers, consisting of 25 items. Simple linear regression analysis revealed that HRM strategies significantly influence teacher performance, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.68. The findings indicate that HRM practices such as selective recruitment, continuous training, systematic performance evaluation, and appropriate compensation positively contribute to improvements in teacher discipline, pedagogical competence, and professionalism. Hence, well-structured and targeted HRM is a crucial factor in enhancing teacher performance and educational quality in Islamic junior high schools.

This emphasizes the importance of cooperation between principal leadership and teacher performance in improving the quality of education services. Therefore, improving the quality of service requires collaboration between the principal and teachers. Both must continue to improve their respective capacities so that the quality of education services can continue to be improved sustainably, the quality of education in madrasas.

No longer solely understood as a formal power inherent in a structural position, leadership is now examined as an interpersonal process that is complex, dynamic, and full of nuances of influence. In an increasingly horizontal, collaborative, and network-based organizational environment, a leader's effectiveness is not only determined by formal authority, but also by his ability to influence others strategically and ethically. There are nine main tactics used by leaders to influence the behavior and decisions of others: legitimacy, rational persuasion, inspirational pleas, consultation, exchange, personal pleas, ingratiation, pressure, and coalition. This study explores these nine influence tactics, using an exploratory qualitative approach through document studies and narrative analysis. The results show that the influence tactics carried out by the Leader must be effective and able to adapt the tactics to the social context and ethical values. Influence tactics in carrying out leadership are not prohibited but must be done responsibly and elegantly.

This study was based on two specific objectives; i) To examine the effect of policy procedure and development on administrators’ performance, and ii) To assess the effect of monitoring and auditing on administrators’ performance in government secondary schools in Rakai district. The study utilized a cross-sectional research design with only a quantitative approach. A sample of 60 respondents was taken into account encompassing school head teachers and teachers from five selected government secondary schools in Rakai district. Descriptive analysis as well as simple linear regression analysis were used to give answers to the study objectives. The study discovered that policy procedure and development has a strong positive and statistically significant effect on administrators’ performance in government secondary schools in Rakai district. Additionally, the study also discovered that monitoring and auditing have a statistically strong positive and significant effect on administrators’ performance in government secondary schools in Rakai district. The study concluded that compliance monitoring in terms of policy procedure and development, and monitoring and auditing has a significant effect on administrators’ performance in government secondary schools in Rakai district in that an improvement in policy procedure and development, and monitoring and auditing would resultantly lead to an enhancement in administrators’ performance in government secondary schools in Rakai district. The study recommends that school management should use compliance management software and tools to track and manage regulatory requirements as this would significantly influence an enhancement in administrators’ performance in government secondary schools in Rakai district.

This research approach uses ethnographic qualitative methods through in-depth interviews with the principal and several teachers. The results show that the principal's leadership plays an important role in building collaboration with various parties, such as the education office, school committee, teachers and the community. Quality improvement strategies are carried out through strengthening facilities and infrastructure, although limited, as well as learning innovations carried out by teachers. Teacher creativity in overcoming limitations, such as utilizing the surrounding environment as a learning medium and using active methods, is a supporting factor for successful learning. The conclusion from this study is that collaborative, humanist and adaptive leadership has a significant impact on improving the quality of education, even in conditions with limited resources. This study recommends the need for continuous support from various parties to strengthen the role of schools in providing quality education services

Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI berperan sebagai pendidik, teladan, fasilitator, motivator, dan evaluator dalam membentuk akhlak dan moral siswa. Meskipun terdapat kendala seperti keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran dan pengaruh negatif lingkungan luar, strategi pembelajaran yang integratif terbukti efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai Islami. Studi ini merekomendasikan peningkatan kolaborasi antara sekolah, guru, dan orang tua guna memperkuat pendidikan karakter Islami siswa.
